Re: Does anyone else enjoy My Brother esau's? |
One of my all-time favorite Bobby tunes. They should have included it on "In the Dark" instead of one of the lame Brent tunes.
So who likes which line better (admittedly they're both fairly stupid, but it's still a great song):
1) "Esau skates on mirrors anymore/and greets his pale reflection at the door..."
OR
2) "Esau, he's on roller skates today/selling real estate to someone in L.A...."
I can't remember which was used first...I think it was #1, then changed to #2 in later incarnations.
Any other good versions to be recommended?

it was included on the LP and cassette, but left off the CD release
if i recall correctly, it was the flip side to the 'touch of grey' single
